Card Template History, Publication and Trust Center Updates - October 26, 2026
The Card Template guide now covers the change history, restoring a version, archiving and publication. Other updates cover the Production Site setting on a Card Template and bulk photo approval. The Trust Center has corrections on image storage and on what deleting a record does.
Card Templates
Updated Documentation:
- Editing Card Templates — New sections:
- History: the change history and restoring an earlier version. It replaces the old Information tab section.
- Publication: producing a test card on a Draft, then publishing, changing and unpublishing a Card Template.
- Deleting or archiving a Card Template: why a template in use is archived instead of deleted.
- Production site: sending a Card Template's cards to a different Production Site.
- Card Templates — The overview lists the new History and Publication tabs in place of Information, and mentions restoring a version and archiving.
- Production Site — New section on turning on Card Template publication for a production site.
- Checkout Flows — Notes that On-the-Fly Checkout follows a Card Template's own Production Site.
Duo ID
Updated Documentation:
- Handling Duo ID Requests — Bulk approve and reject now describe one batch with a progress bar, where the rest go through if some requests fail. A new Take a closer look at a photo section covers the larger photos, the hover preview and the enlarge button.
Trust Center
Updated Documentation:
- Compliance and Data Protection — New Branding asset storage section: logos and product images are kept in Sotera's own storage in the EEA.
- Sub-processors — Cloudinary is removed from the list.
- Data Protection — Data deletion now describes what really happens. Deleting a user account or a Credential keeps the record and masks or strips its content, and backups keep the record until they expire.
- User Lifecycle Management — Corrected to say that deleting an account keeps its record and masks the name, email address and username.
