Photo Background Removal Updates - October 15, 2026​

The template editing guides now explain what you see while a photo's background is removed and how removal in bulk works.

Template Management​

Updated Documentation:

  • Editing Card Templates — Background Removal Settings gains two subsections: "What you see while a background is removed" (the Removing background… and Background removal failed badges, and Try again) and "Removing backgrounds in bulk" (one run for up to 500 photos, progress, and the count of failed and skipped photos when the run is finished).
  • Editing Templates — The same "What you see while a background is removed" section for Mobile Credential Templates.

User Administration​

Updated Documentation:

  • Roles and Permissions — The bulk photo background removal permission now says the run continues in the background, that the window can be closed, and that a run handles up to 500 photos.
