AI Assistant (MCP) Documentation - August 7, 2026

The MCP connection guide is no longer written as a Claude-only feature. It now covers connecting any MCP-compatible assistant, and it has moved to a new address. The security pages and the Tenant settings guide describe the Domain- and Tenant-level switches that decide whether assistant connections are allowed at all.

Integrations

Updated Documentation:

  • Connect an AI assistant to Breeze — Rewritten for any MCP client instead of Claude alone. Adds what an assistant needs in order to connect, where the connector setting usually lives, and the two organization-level switches that have to be on first.
  • Integrations overview — Now lists the MCP integration alongside AMR and Axia Frakt, so it can be found without going through the sidebar.

Security

Updated Documentation:

  • Compliance & Data Protection — Explains that MCP access is enabled per Domain and then per Tenant, and which part of the data flow sits outside the Breeze DPA.
  • Sub-processors — States that an assistant a user connects is not a Sotera sub-processor, whichever company operates it.

Tenant Administration

Updated Documentation:

  • Tenant Settings — Points to where a Tenant administrator turns on AI assistant access.

Documentation Structure Improvements

The connection guide moved from /docs/integrations/connect-claude-mcp to /docs/integrations/connect-ai-assistant-mcp. The old address redirects to the new one, so links already shared keep working.
