v1.9.8.0
Breeze v1.9.8.0 focuses on making integrations simpler and day‑to‑day work faster. You get two new AMR options for writing Credentials directly to Microsoft SQL Server, plus a configurable background removal color to keep photos on‑brand. We’ve also shipped clarity and performance improvements that reduce support overhead and keep billing accurate.
What this release gives you
This release is about momentum—moving data to the right place at the right time, and making everyday tasks clearer and faster. With AMR SQL Synchronization and SQL Transfer, Breeze can now write Credentials straight to Microsoft SQL Server, whether you want a continuous, always‑current feed or a clean one‑time insert after production. It means less glue code, fewer jobs to maintain, and a quicker path from issuance to the systems that rely on your data.
On the visual side, automatic background removal gets a brand‑ready upgrade. You can set a solid color or go transparent, then Breeze applies it automatically per template—so photos look consistent without extra editing. And during checkout, clearer “Recipient contact information” labels help ensure confirmations go to the right person the first time, in all supported languages.
Together, these updates help teams integrate faster, keep data flowing cleanly, and present credentials that look the part—while reducing the small friction points that slow people down.

New Features
AMR SQL Synchronization (MSSQL)
Keep your downstream systems up to date—no files, scripts, or nightly jobs. SQL Sync streams Credential changes straight into Microsoft SQL Server so your PACS, HR, and custom apps always have the latest data.
Highlights:
- Set‑and‑forget field mapping in the UI
- Live updates for produced, activated, deactivated, and deleted Credentials
- Optional last‑updated timestamp for easy change tracking
- Low‑noise incident emails when something needs attention
Why it matters:
- Replace fragile file drops with a reliable, real‑time feed
- Cut operational overhead and shorten time‑to‑integration
- Give teams immediate visibility into credential status without extra tooling
To get started, point Breeze AMR at your SQL table and map the fields.

AMR SQL Transfer (MSSQL)
Get a clean, one‑time insert into SQL the moment a Credential is produced. Ideal for simple hand‑offs, temporary cards, or systems that only need an initial row—no jobs to set up and no manual steps.
Highlights:
- Instant write to your SQL table after production
- Same friendly field‑mapping experience as Sync
- Clear incident emails with a simple retry from the Credential page if needed
Why it matters:
- Perfect for systems that only need the first insert (no ongoing sync)
- Accelerates pilots, ad‑hoc integrations, and temporary workflows
- Reduces scripting and support by using AMR’s built‑in mapping
Choose your table, map fields once, and each produced Credential inserts (or upserts) a row—done.

Configurable Background Removal Color
Create on‑brand photos when you use automatic background removal. Choose a transparent background for a premium, cut‑out look—or set a solid color that matches your card design. Breeze applies your choice automatically whenever background removal runs for that template, so credentials stay consistent without extra editing.
This capability applies to the automatic background removal feature and is available as an optional premium add‑on. Contact your Breeze representative to enable it.
Highlights:
- Consistent, professional results across Card and Mobile templates
- On‑brand colors without manual photo editing
- Set it once in Background Removal Settings; live preview included
Why it matters:
- Produces consistent, professional‑looking photos that match your brand
- Saves design effort and speeds up issuance when photos must look uniform
- Offers transparency for modern, premium visuals
Good to know:
- Existing templates default to a white background until you change it
- Applies only to automatic background removal; manual photo edits are unaffected
Improvements
Recipient Contact Information Clarification
Make sure communications reach the right person. Checkout and order views now clearly label email and phone fields as the recipient’s contact information—reducing confusion when you’re ordering on someone else’s behalf.
What changed
- “Contact information” is now “Recipient contact information”
- Email and phone labels/help text explicitly refer to the recipient
Where you’ll see it
- Checkout (desktop and mobile): section title, description, email, and phone labels
- Order details: recipient email and phone in the delivery snapshot
Languages
- Updated translations for: English, Danish, Finnish, French, Norwegian, Swedish, and Symbol
Behavior
- Copy and labels only; no functional changes
Bug fixes
Copy Template incorrectly enables "Print back side"
Fixed an issue where copied Card Templates enabled “Print back side” even when it was off on the original. Copies now preserve both “Print front side” and “Print back side” exactly as set.
Tenant selection list lacks scrolling; Proceed button hidden
When tenant lists are long, the selection area now scrolls and primary actions remain visible. The “Proceed” button no longer slips below the viewport, eliminating the need to zoom out.
Missing Mobile Template name in Credential list
Template names for Mobile IDs now display correctly in the Credential list. Mobile credentials no longer appear without a template name.
Credential list performance with many credentials
Improved load times and smoother navigation for large Credential lists by optimizing the underlying query. Expect noticeably faster rendering for large tenants.
Credentials removed from cart after production lose invoicing
Produced Credentials now remain in the cart—and billable—even if they are later replaced or deleted, preventing lost invoicing.
Search/filter on Encodings not working
Searching and filtering on Encodings now works as expected. Results update correctly when you type or apply filters.
